LEXHY

Management company · Asia-Pacific

Somewhere in the network it is a working morning.

Six private client firms, Dubai to Auckland. One file on your business, released exactly where you choose. Say what is happening and the people who could take it come back — with your own general counsel first in line.

Why this exists

Asia's businesses are family‑owned. The firms built to serve them were not.

The transaction is not the relationship

International firms are organised around deals. A family business is not a deal. It is thirty years of decisions with a balance sheet attached, and the questions arrive in the wrong order and at the wrong hour.

The right lawyers are already there

In every market there is a small firm that understands this, usually run by people who trained in London or New York and went home. They have the judgment. What they have never had is a way to work as one.

One file, not six introductions

The cost of going cross-border is not the fee. It is explaining yourself again to every new firm. LEXHY holds the context once and releases it, in named categories, to whoever you instruct.

The client app · live demo

Everything on your matters, in one place, on the phone you already carry.

This is the working app, not a picture of one. Use it — tap the tabs, open a lawyer, run the narration, pay an invoice. Nothing you do here reaches anyone. Scroll this page and the app follows along, or tap a heading to jump straight to that screen. Every name and figure is sample data for a demonstration company.

This one works — tap it, scroll it, type in it

Identity and source of wealth

One passport. Every firm you release it to stamps the same document.

Verification is the tax you pay for going cross-border. Six firms, six packs of the same documents, six waits of a week or more before anyone can start. LEXHY verifies once, in Singapore, to Singapore standards — and every member firm you instruct relies on that verification instead of repeating it.

Not released

A stamp is a release you made, for a named matter, on a date. It can be withdrawn. Nothing here was shared because a firm asked — Jakarta has asked and is still waiting.

Once

Verification events

One pack assembled, one MLRO sign-off, one set of source documents held on the platform and producible on demand.

11 days → 0

Wait before the second firm can start

The first verification takes as long as it takes. Every firm after it starts on the day you release, because there is nothing left to collect.

Yours

Who controls the release

Per matter, never per firm. Asking does not grant it, and a release can be withdrawn without ending the engagement.

Why a member firm is allowed to rely on it

Singapore law practices may rely on a third party's client due diligence where three conditions hold. The network is built so that all three do, on every matter, by default.

  1. The verifier is supervised. Bethel Chambers is a Singapore law practice subject to the Legal Profession (Prevention of Money Laundering, Financing of Terrorism and Proliferation Financing) Rules, and supervised for compliance with them.
  2. Its measures are documented. The procedure, the evidence and the sign-off are recorded on the platform, so a relying firm can see what was done before it relies.
  3. Source documents are produced on request. Immediately, through the platform, with your release — which is the condition most reliance arrangements fail in practice.

Reliance is not delegation. Each member firm remains responsible for its own due diligence and for its own reporting obligations. What the passport removes is the repetition, not the duty — and any firm can always ask you for more.

Curation

The bar is an admission condition for the practice, retested every year.

A network is only worth joining if the next firm admitted is as good as the last. Four gates, applied to the practice rather than to the individual you happen to meet, and retested every year. The fourth one is new, and it is the one most firms now fail.

Pool Every lawyer practising in the six markets Where a good boutique would normally recruit, and where a client shopping on their own would normally end up.
Gate 1 Trained at an Am Law 100 or Magic Circle firm 70% of a member firm's fee earners must clear this. Below that line the practice is not admitted, however well regarded it is locally. 70%
Gate 2 Five years post-qualification, minimum Nobody reaches a client here while they are still learning the job. The median across the network is eleven years. 5 yrs
Gate 3 Ranked by Chambers or Legal 500 Firm and individual rankings recorded at admission and refreshed each edition. They sit on the lawyer's card, not in a brochure. Ranked
Gate 4 Fluent with agents, and measured on it Runs supervised agents on live matters, signs personally for what they produce, and knows where not to use them. The platform records the override rate — a lawyer who never changes an agent's output is not reviewing it. Assessed
Admitted One firm per market Admitted for the specialism the network lacks, and holding the seat on referral volume rather than tenure. Six markets, six firms. 1 of 1

Why five years, not three

Agents have collapsed the work that used to teach junior lawyers judgment. Someone who qualified into a practice where the first draft already exists needs longer before they are the one deciding whether it is right.

Why fluency is a gate, not a bonus

A lawyer who cannot direct an agent charges you for work the agent would have done in minutes. One who trusts it blindly charges you for a mistake. Both fail the same test.

Retested every year

Admission is not a certificate. The ratio, the rankings and the override rates are re-measured annually, and a firm that drifts below the line is told before a client is.
